2025 Juried Art Show Intake

Call for Submissions
The UAF Department of Art invites all current art majors and students enrolled in Art or cross-listed Art courses during the 2024–2025 academic year to participate in this year’s Juried Student Exhibition. This annual tradition offers a platform for students to showcase their best work in a professional gallery setting and receive recognition from an esteemed guest juror. The 2025 exhibition will be juried by Lindsay Saunders, a contemporary artist known for her dynamic, concept-driven work and community-based art practices.
The intake for submissions will be held Monday, April 14th, from 11am–5pm in the UAF Art Gallery. Each student may submit up to three pieces, and all 2D work must be ready to hang (framed with wire or sawtooth). Digital and video works formatted for HDTV display are also welcome. Submitted pieces may be from prior semesters but must not have been previously exhibited at UAF.
If you're unable to attend the main drop-off time, alternative arrangements can be made with Assistant Professor Jason Lazarus. Additional drop-off times include after-hours on Thursday, April 10th, and during the day on Friday, April 11th.
To speed up the process, students are encouraged to fill out the in advance.
Selected works will be displayed in the UAF Art Gallery from April 17–28, 2025.
