Rasmuson Library open house will showcase railroads

The ºÚÁÏÉçapp Rasmuson Library will host an open house Thursday, Oct. 26, from 5 to 7 p.m., for the ºÚÁÏÉçappand Polar Regions Collection and Archives. This event will showcase collections focused on Alaska’s many railroads.
The open house is an opportunity to experience historical photographs, films, maps, recordings and other memorabilia celebrating Alaska’s rail heritage. ºÚÁÏÉçappNative Language Archive materials will also be on display.
Visitors may also peruse the Rasmuson Library’s ºÚÁÏÉçappbook sale. This sale of used and donated duplicate books continues through Nov. 3.
The open house is free and open to the public. Parking on the Troth Yeddha’ Campus is free for visitors after 5 p.m. unless otherwise designated.
